Leadership Analytics

Where are you now, and where would you like to be?

Where you are now in your career is a result of your current skills and abilities. But what’s next? Where do you go from here? As Marshall Goldsmith said, “What got you here won’t get you there.”

The exceptional leader has crossed the Rubicon. It’s not about title anymore. It’s about demonstrating the kind of leadership behavior and skills that attracts and develops followers, inspires engagement, and earns loyalty to the mission, team, tasks, and results. The characteristics are measurable. That that we can measure, we can improve. Measurement provides a picture. Pictures provide clarity. We see our own store more clearly.

Three significant gaps that interfere with success are:

  1. The gap between what we think we know, and what we don’t realize we need to know, but don’t know yet.
  2. The gap between how we perceive ourselves, and how others perceive us.
  3. The gap between what we know and what we do.

We can’t close gaps we don’t see.  Assessment data provides the clear picture of where we are now. Then we can create the map to get us where we want to be.
